ABOUT THE WARRENTON KENNEL CLUB
The Warrenton Kennel Club is a non-profit organization consisting of dog fanciers from the various counties surrounding Warrenton, VA. The Objective of the Club is to further the advancement of all breeds of purebred dogs; and conduct dog shows, performance events and sanctioned matches under the rules of the American Kennel Club. The club also serves as a source of education for members and the public.
The Warrenton Kennel Club conducts a two-day conformation show and an Agility Trial in September. A “B” Match is held in the summer at the Club’s show grounds in Rectortown. Training classes for obedience and show handling are offered in the fall, winter and spring at the National Guard Armory in Warrenton. In addition, show drop-in is also offered, which is a great way to keep our dogs in practice for shows. The Club also schedules seminars on a variety of topics pertaining to dogs by expert speakers.
Club meetings are held the third Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. If you are interested in joining, come to one of our meetings for further information.
